Apprenticeship: precision mechanic (m/f/d) – specializing in general mechanical engineering
Qualification:
- Successful school graduation with good grades in German, mathematics, physics and technology related subjects
- Technical understanding, skilled craftsmanship and spacial sense
- First hands-on experiences in technical environments beneficial, f.e. THW, voluntary fire fighter or model kit assembler
- Team and communication skills
Content of education:
- Manual and mechanical processing of metal components
- Reading and decoding of technical drawings
- Acquisistion of manufacturing methods like turning, milling, drilling, grinding and polishing
- Programming and set-up of CNC programmed machine tools
- Enforcement of quality assurance during production processes
